Intentionally the subject box was supposed to say "fun-ness". Upon noticing the mispell, I decided it was funnier that way anyway. And it's great to make people confused.
Lessee.... what's going on in my life right now...
Well, I got about a million more spooky and fall things for my room, and I LOVE IT. Tim Burton rules; the dark blue-ish color scheme for Corpse Bride has surpsingly fit into my light orange and green room very nicely. I finally moved my bed back to where I had it before, so now I have a lot more room for dancing and the whole room just looks SO much better. (you're gonna DIE when you see it, Squish XD)
I finally got my Danny Elfman autograph framed, and it looks AWESOME. I was also up late doing a drawing of Victor and Victoria kissing that maybe took 3-4 hours to finish. I was really proud of it, and when I showed it to mom, she flipped. We got that framed too =)
Speaking of which, Squishy hath doth challanged me to a Nightmare Before Christmas act-off when we get together. Since she appears to be so confident, I'm afraid I must challenge her to Corpse Bride act-off as well. (BWAHA.)
Mom has finally decided that she's excited about seeing Corpse Bride, though we can't go till Halloween. (Waah) I'm still debating what to dress up as this year. While being Emily would totally rox00rs (pardon my chatspeek), I was thinking of being Boo from Monsters Inc. again.
But then again I'm bloody obsessed with this movie. So we'll see.
I had Mom listen to the soundtrack while we were out and about today. She LOVES it. I just think it's funny that I've listened to Remains of the Day maybe 5 times in front of her, and she still hasn't guessed that Emily's lover was Barkis. (Don't worry if you read that, Mom. I know you'll forget it tomorrow by lunchtime.)
My faith in humanity dropped another notch, on that note.
I was browsing deviantArt the other day looking for the Corpse Bride gallery, (On dA, a member has to start it up.) and was so dissapointed to find that JackandSally4eva (affectionately dubbed "Smut Writer") had gotten to it first. So the gallery is crawling with the most nastiest wanna-tear-your-eyes-out smut pics of, get this, Victoria and Barkis. I feel a rant coming on...

If I may quote HouseMaster from ArfenHouse, "WTF?"
Victoria and Barkis?? I mean, BARKIS? The guy who marries girls, steals their money, and then kills them? The guy who at the end of the movie is clear on the fact that Victoria is broke but tries to keep her anyway under the claim that he can somehow profit with her? I watch that scene where Barkis holds that knife to her throat at the end now and all I can think of is Smut Writer. WHY does she watch this scene and see love? Honestly O_o;;
Squishy reported back to me that after asking her this, this was her response:
"I dunno... I like the idea of the big strong guy protecting the damsel in distress."
To which I had to do a double take, and google that clip again. I raaaaaan it back and forth to be sure that there was no possible way that she could have watched this scene, and mistaken Barkis for a worse-looking version of Victor.
Um, first of all, 'Barkis' and 'protecting' do not go in the same sentence, unless it's "Victor was protecting Victoria FROM Barkis". Otherwise, it's gramatically inccorect XP Second of all, upon watching the clip again, I'm still amazed that that was her response. Since when does 'protecting' mean 'threaten to kill your fiancee if you come any closer'?
My brain melted when I read that response. I will seriously injure myself trying to find logic in that statement.

Well I finally found a copy of Gone With the Wind today. I need to start reading it. Mom said if we watch an hour a day, she'd like to see the movie too.
Poor Daddy is sick =( So he hasn't been able to do much with us lately.
Before I leave, I must leave you with this link. If you haven't seen ArfenHouse, do it NOW. --->

P.S. I have just been informed by Hito that the word of the day is "Grandma". Good to know.
