Chi fainted today. For the first time in her life. Yay me!

Well I woke up this morning, went to my closet to get a shirt and some jeans, and closed the closet door.

ON MY $(*&%&^&*$ FINGERS. HARD. Harder than I've ever smashed them before. I may as well have taken a hammer to the suckers. So I kinda squealed and sat down on my bed for a sec and waited for the pain to go away. Three minutes later it STILL hurt, so I just decided to get over it and went into the bathroom to get dressed.

A few seconds later, I felt kinda sick. Not the kinda sick when you eat something bad, or eat too much, or have the stomach flu or something. It was a wonky kinda sick, like stuff was moving around in my tummy. The first thought I had was "Aww CRAP. I'm gonna puke." Which I TOTALLY don't wanna do because it's painful, annoying, and I'm totally not going to skip school tomorrow, ESPECIALLY when Thursday and Fridays are half days.

But snot is sliding down the back of my nose and I'm starting to swallow a lot, so I'm starting to figure I'll hafta anyway. That's when all the blood that rushed to my hand started rushing back to my head. REALLY FAST. So fast, I could FEEL it rushing to my head. As it started coming up my head felt hotter and hotter and my sight got blurrier and blurrier. So thinking I'm going to puke, I open the door, yell for mom, and that's where I stop remembeing what happened.

Mom says my eyes were open, but I was so out of it, I coulda sworn they were closed. I remember sorta fuzzing back in and hearing mom yelling at dad to hurry up and get a washcloth. And when my eyesight comes back I realize I'm on the ground. My first thought is "Okay?..... What the jesus pudding snacks am I doing down here?" I feel like I couldn't have fallen because The tub was right above my head, and I thought I would have hit something on my way down. Mom said she could hear me run into the hamper as I went down though, so obviously I did. (Thank you for saving me from a concussion, Biffy! ;) )

Mom said I was pretty much as white as my shirt. I sorta remember glancing every which way for a sec and going.... "Uh... what's going on?" So dad got me a coke and mom took me back to my room, and I remember walking with her and trying SO HARD not to laugh. I dunno if it was that I was happy I wasn't sick anymore, totally dillusional, or thinking of how friggen funny it was that I fainted from smashing my bloody fingers, but I was snickering nontheless.

I'm still feeling a little wonky, but I feel better now. (See, Cousin H? THAT'S how you end a blog about being sick, ya whiner.)
