I've always been bad at math.

Let me tell you something, I am a good student. I have A's and B's in all my other classes.

I went into the math final today, and half the stuff on the test wasn't on the review sheet. So I studied for FIVE HOURS only HALF THE MATERIAL OF THE TEST. So if I fail... hey. Not my fault.

Life goes on. The world keeps turning. This is just another obstacle to overcome. If I fail, I'll take it again next year or over the summer. it's 50 lousy bucks for another class. My parents saw how hard I worked and studied, they see my awesome grades in the other class, and they know my failing is not me being lazy. It felt good last night when mom recognized that; she said I did all I could do and what happens happens.

I'm not good at math. So if I fail, I take it again with a DIFFERENT instructor who will put on the final what she FRIKKEN SAYS is going on the final.

I cried, panicked, and worried a lot this year over this final. But it's really time to take a deep breath and say, it's not the end of the world.

Everyone has a lousy subject or instructor once in a while. I suck at math. But guess what? I get another chance if the final got messed up.

I did all I could so for this class so I can't beat myself up anymore. Pass or fail, I really gotta recognize all the hard work I put into this and my other four classes this year. Four more A's is something to celebrate instead of being sad over a class I just wasn't good at. One class. 70% of freshman drop out because they fail EVERY class. If I end up failing one in the whole year, it's still something to celebrate. Everyone has a bad class. If I have to retake it, hey, I know it all already. It'll be easier.

Four A's is something to celebrate. Life goes on.

Mrs. H requests that I run down to the special ed room this morning to see why little T was not in. I go in, have a quick chat, share a quick nose-nuzzle with T, and head back to the room. Next to Mrs. H's room is a sign. The kindergarten teacher's have just put up a sign. It reads exactly as follows:

"Enroll your child in school NOW! Don't loose your spot!"

Don't -- loose -- your spot. Is it poetic? Loose means not tight, are they saying "SECURE" a spot for school??? Is it supposed to be clever??

WOULD YOU SIGN YOUR KID UP FOR A KINDERGARTEN THAT DOES NOT KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EVEN "LOSE" AND "LOOSE"?!

*sobs*

Anyway, I finally got a video taken down for copyright infringement. FOX says no Horton Hears a Who videos apparently. Which is fine. But I couldn't help but wondering why my totally legally obtained video was taken down, and not the ones that were clearly recorded in the movie theatre.

Then I realized.

It's the one video of my nine where I forgot to put "no copyright infringement intended". Ah bugger. Youtube was nice about it though filed a counter for me without me even asking. Thanks youtube.

Because there's no such thing :) This was mom's post, and here is the Disney-freak's counter-argument:

10. Trash, trash everywhere

It was a crazy attendance day on Saturday. The trash is the fault of the hundreds of obnoxious music, school, and foreign groups. They're not obnoxious because they make lines longer, these people are just obnoxious. Screamers, shovers, runners, trashers. Blame the groups who normally are not there. When they aren't, the park is cleaner than you could possible imagine. On that note, Six Flags would put the "cleanliness" view into perspective.

9. Sticky tables, benches, etc. etc.And don't even get me started on the restrooms. I've seen cleaner truck stop bathrooms!

Paradise Pier tends to have this problem for obvious reasons, but Disney is remedieng it. It's also hard to go out and clean up tables on busy days when everyone is at them. As for the restrooms, I'm not sure which ones you stopped in. Main street's can be pretty grodey, but Space Mountain, Hollywood Studios, etc. have the cleanest bathrooms ever. Very comfy in Disney restrooms.

8. Year of a Million Dreams? We have been there at least 6 times since this started, mostly 3 days each time and have yet to win a dream.

Silly, we won those free pictures, remember? Granted a stay in the dream suite would be awesome, and I alone have yet to get anything, but we HAVE won before.

7. The employees don't smile or even acknowledge your presence, for the most part.

Again it seems you were in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some employees were bad about that, but there were still a lot of good ones. My favorite are the HSM cheerleaders who still high-five me and say "cool HSM backpack/shirt/hat!"

6. Apathetic employees

Nighttime crew. 'Nough said.

5. Lack of healthy food choices. Everything is fried. Everything. Fried can be good. But occasionally I want a nice baked potato, thank you very much.

Blue Bayou, Chips and Strips, the fruit carts, Golden Horseshoe, Hungry Bear Restaraunt, Pacific Warf; the fact that we don't eat healthy there is by my doing of dragging us to Pizza Port everyday ;)

4. Canceled fireworks. Wind conditions, my goat.

Okay true, "wind conditions at higher elevations" is the dumbest excuse ever, but at least that shows they're aiming to keep us safe and not to make money.

3. Same old stuff. Same parade, same costumes, same songs, same dances, same, same, same.

The dream parade, HSM 2, the Princess Faire, they're all new. As for Fantasmic and the Electric Light Parade, fans (such as I) would go bonkers if you tried to take that away simply because it's "old".

2. RUDE PEOPLE. Pushing, shoving, yelling, screaming, running, vandalizing, cutting, spilling, etc.

Sari makes fun of me all the time for being so mean at Disneyland to the people mentioned above. Yea I hate pushing and shoving, but after a quick "excuse you", I'm over it. How can you NOT be happy at the happiest place on earth?

1. A. First bug sighting ever. As we were leaving Main Street, there was a giant roach in front of one of the stores. Everyone was shocked to see it, too. We always commented that you never see bugs in Disneyland but there he was.

Disney is not perfect, that's all I have to say to that. The fact it only made it to mainstreet says something.

1. B. The windows of Pinnochio are beautiful. Stained glass and real lead patterns. Some gansta - wannabe took something sharp and carved their gang name in the window, complete with the correct calligraphic formation of the letters. So. Sad.

Not Disney's fault. Disney needs to start smacking some people upside the head, but they can't catch everything.

Now my parents are old and thus jaded to the wonders of Disney, so I won't blame em :) I, on the other hand, will be renewing my annual pass for trips with my friends, school, and nephew. (Free babysitting for Sissy and free ride for me. Woohoo!)
