Okay, first thing's first. I saw Hillary Clinton on Saturday at the U of A. Waited in line for three hours to do so, but we got to see her all the same. My daddy took me. We got lunch at KFC and then played at the Planetarium like lil kids for a while and saw a show in the dome and then hurried off to the line which was a little over a mile long by the time we got to the end. (It grew to about 2 miles according to the news.) But we got in and got fantastics spots no more than a yard or two away from her; AWESOMENESS! I hadn't heard much about her plans or what she wanted to do, but once she spoke, I couldn't agree more with eveyrthing. Affordable college by extending the Pell grants and lower interest rates on loans, no more NCLB, take the soliders out of Iraq within 30 days, take money out of the war and invest it in a solution for clean, renewable energy. You go, girl. Chelsea was there too! She was my hero when I was in elementary school, so I thought that was great. It was just AWESOME. I made history, man. This is the first time a woman went out and campaigned for president. (Several have been UP for it, but this is the first real CAMPAIGN.) And if she becomes president, imgaine, I get to say I saw the president!! How cool is that? I think America is so ready for a woman president, and Hillary in particular. She was just fantastic.
So after that we rushed home, grabbed the tickets, and ran off to see the Hanna Montana/Miley Cyrus concert in 3D! It was WAAAAY better than going to the actual concert. Yea, seeing Miley would be cool, but that would be the only perk. The 3D was so great, I kept forgetting I wasn't AT the concert. Everyone was appluading and screaming and sningling along and clapping intune and waving cell phones in the air just like a real concert. And HELLO? The view is SOOOOO much better! The volume was blow-your-ears out loud just like a real concert AND you get backstage peeks at everything. It was EPIC. Totally worth the $15. I had an AMAZING time, there was nothing like it. You can't know what I mean until you've been there.
So not much is up right now. I love work and I love school. I'm trying to break my Instant Messaging addiction right now. It's been hard, but good so far. I get to sleep at a decent hour, I have more time to play and do things I haven't done in years, I'm weeks ahead of my homework, and I'm spending more time with my real-life friends. It's been really hard to not hit that AIM icon, but I'm really proud that I haven't, and it's been getting easier.
And I just got a fantastically huge stomache ache, prolly from the reccees cup I had for breakfast ;) so I gots to go. Squee ya!
