It's very discouraging to see how many good role models keep going downhill. It's no wonder some kids act the way they do. Michelle Branch was my role model until she posed for Maxim and dropped off the face of the earth. Hilary Duff was my role model until she turned down an upwards of millions of dollars contract, stating it "wasn't enough". Miley Cyrus was my role model until she just started make dumb decisions.
I'm sad to say that, cause I love Miley. I was a Hannah Montana fan before it was popular. You know, that time when people were like "Hannah Montana? What's that?" Yea, remember THOSE days? I was a fan then. And now that Miley's getting older, she's making stupid decisions.
Leaving Hannah Montana at the top of it's game? Are you for real? To make a CD? Honey, your fanbase consists of preteens, me and my friends are the odd fans out. Good luck; to be honest, I didn't even catch when your new CD came out. I still haven't seen it or know what it's called. Why? Because Hannah Montana isn't attached to it. Are you upset because you made an ill-conceived choice of posing for Vanity Fair? I tried my best to defend you on that one, I was having a hard time doing so. And went into some serious denial.
Here's what really set this off though, the ultimate act of a spoiled princess: scheduling your birthday on Disneyland's Gay Days.
Does anyone remember that episode of Suite Life of Zack and Cody where London plans her birthday over Maddy's, even though her birthday is months away, and refuses to move it? What a jerk, right?
It's life imitating art now. Miley's birthday isn't for a month and a half. And what does she do? Plan it over Gay Days. What a princess! Closing the park early over the only two days they ask for in the whole year?
Miley, I love you, so I say this with the best of intentions: STOP MAKING STUPID CHOICES!!
