So today is Earth Hour day. A day in which lights and all electricity should be turned off for one hour.

This also happens to be at the same time as the Kid's Choice Awards.

I'm not the only one who noticed this apparently, as a google search of "KCA's during earth hour" turns up quite a bit of discussion. Apparently the KCA's are ALWAYS on the same day as earth hour.

I think it's a weeee bit stupid to have Earth Hour on a primetime Saturday. If you want full compliance, try a weekday or something. Hell, even a friday.

Screw that though, I guess I'm an environment hater cause I aint missing the KCA's. Some yahoo users didn't fail to mention what OMG ENVIRONMENT HATERZ we are for not choosing to watch the encore the next day. Anyone who knows me well though knows this is my Oscars, and it must be watched LIVE. At night. With lots of junk food.

Listen, this earth hour thing is a noble cause, but I've done my part, and still do. I turn out lights like a disgruntled amish, carpool, and do everything I can to conserve energy as much as possible. If you have to ream on me for not turning everything off tonight, I can only assume you are insecure and feeling guilty, as you have not done your own part.
